I needed to wipe the entire configuration from a Storedge A1000 Array. To do this I accessed the system from the console of a Sun Enterprise 4500. This is how I did it.

Connect a null modem cable from serial b (or serial a) to the console port of the A1000.

Issue the following command to get command line access to the A1000:

#tip -2400 /dev/ttyb

Reboot the A1000 and press the space bar twice for boot options.

Use the following command line options to wipe the current configuration and to reboot the system:

-> sysWipe

-> sysReboot

Note: this will destroy your current RAID setup.
